Bonjour! I have wanted to cut my thick wavy hair short ( by short i mean from the chin or shorter) for a while now, but I`m wondering if I would get too bored with short hair. I`m wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this, I appreciate it.

Personally, I think wavy, thick hair looks great at the chin length. Like- an all one length bob for example. Its one of my favorite hairstyles, versatile and a classic beauty. Speaking as someone who has had virtually every length of hair, I wouldn`t go much shorter than say 1 inch or so below chin. Because with thick hair, it can get pouffy when its short and the stylist will recommend layers to thin it out-then its a nightmare growing out, if and when you grow it out(trust me I`m there now!). Anyway, That length is also a GREAT start to SEE how you like it AND because should you not like it, it grows out fast!! (Well, it seems to anyway, especially with all one length!)
Oh...your question (sorry) That is hard to answer without knowing you. I`ve always had fun with the style I mentioned. But if you go with shorter & more layers it will be less versatile, so keep that in mind.
