I been brushing my hair for close 2 a year now as u can see from my pic. I want to grow my hair out n keep it curly like puerto rican hair. my hair is really thick n after a few weeks of growin it will curl up crazy especially when i use pomade. i want to kno what i can put in my hair to make my curls look really nice like the singer bobby valentino. i dont want a big curly mess on my head. i am thinkin about gettin it relaxed but im kinda worried about puttin chemicals in my hair. i kno nothing about curls so if i do get a relaxer how would i maintain it? do i have to keep going back 2 get it relaxed?

you'll have to go back to get your roots relaxed but otherwise you mainatain it with shampooing and conditioning. But it sounds like since you have tight curls you will have to get some sort of relaxing treatment to loosen them. S-curl has a texterizing chemical relaxer. I use this for my touch-ups. And s-curl spray is a good way to keep the hair moisturized so it doesn't dry up and look raggidy
