You people are lucky. I am a guy and I couldn`t have limp hair if I tried. It is especially frustrating if I try to grow the hair on the sides of my head less than 2 and a half inches long, because then it starts to just stand up. I have straight hair, but it has too much volume. I wish that there was a devolumizing condtioner out there lol.

Here is a recipe I have been using for some time now for dry hair with great success. ¼ cup olive oil ¼ cup vegetable oil ½ cup water 2 tbsp honey Combine ingredients. Boil on stove. Immediately remove from heat and allow to cool. Transfer into a spray bottle. Spray on wet hair and wrap hair in towel for 15 minutes. Remove towel and rinse. Store conditioner in a cool place between uses.

Merlin,
you just boil it the one time, then each use thereafter you apply it cool?? Is that what you are saying??
Thanks, sounds cheap and easy!!

That`s exactly right...just boil it once. Apply it after it has cooled. It works so well, my wife uses it 2 - 3 times a week, especially in the winter when her hair has a tendency to get a little dry. Hope it works as well for you.

I`ve been thinking....this recipe could be a little too much if your hair isn`t very dry. You might consider neutral henna as a conditioner, I have had good luck with it for a long time. If the first recipe works, as your hair improves, you might shift to henna as a lighter conditioner. Also, I have read that rosemary oil works very well too. I can`t personally vouch for it as I haven`t tried it, but the directions are: Put a few drops into hair brush or massage gently into hair and scalp. For brittle hair and split ends, shampoo and towel dry. Work a liberal amount of Rosemary Oil into the hair. Leave on for two hours (or 20 minutes wrapped in warm towel). Shampoo again. Repeat once a week as necessary. Hope this helps!!
