Ok, I really want to dye the underside of my hair an auburn color (my regular color that will stay on the top is light brown). The problem is, I'm not really sure how to part it. I've attached links to a couple pics of what I'm going for. Any advise is appreciated =)

This is a hard one. To try and do it yourself its going to be tricky, sides of your hair and front will be ok to do , but the back is going to be harder. The way I try to acheive the looks in your pics, is to take a star shaped pattern all the way round the crown to the fore head, pin it up, then about a 3 inch section again pin it up. You should have 3 star shaped patterns, you colour them what ever your going for, mind protect each star sections with foils or wraps to avoid the colours overlapping, should look fantastic when finished. I did say its tricky lol . best of luck
