i jus recently got done wolfin for 2 and a half months. during the whole time i never got a shape up or cut obviously. i jus du ragged at school n work n sleep. i still followed my normal wave routine through the day.
but, wen u go get ur cut make sure at least 2 days ahead u put some pomade, preferably 360 n brush. the next night put some carrot creme in n brush good, jus b4 u get the cut like an hour b4, put a small amount of carrot creme in n brush brush brush. get this cut.
4 against the grain, 2 with the grain. make sure ya barber go against wit a 4, n come back wit the grain a 2. this lines up, spaces out, defines, n lasts longer. now dont wash ya hair if it aint trained, u'll lose everything. jus moisturize, n wave jel where needed. 360 iz ok to put in right after the cut but stay off pomade heavily for a week or week n half. wolf again if u want.

before using the advice in this post... please inform your barber as to the current status of your hair... cuz honestly my barber would kick my ass up and down the street if i came in for a cut with 2day pomade built up in my hair... let alone carrot cream right before i go in... im just a lil confused to your post... what does this accomplish... whats wrong with clean hair before the cut and add the products after... when u say it lines up, defines, and last longer... what are u referring too???.. cuz im pretty sure thats the whole purpose of the wolfing process.... no disrespect just tryna understand your point.... its just i havnt yet heard one barber that was fine with cutting greasy hair.. hell u might even break a clipper guard or two cuz your hair is just so tough from the pomade

I use the sportin waves black can before a cut.  A very very small amount. I don't use super thick stuff. But I get my cut every 4 weeks cause my hair grows super hyper fast. Its not even funny. I might grow it out in the summer. Like for the whole summer. I can't wear my du-rag ouside anyways. Especially not in school. But theirs really no point. Besides i gave my barber fresh new clippers so he doesn't have any problems.

well when I used to go to the shop with products in my hair, it took much longer to cut not to mention it messes up the clippers. Better yet depending on your hair texture it may mess up the clippers I dont advise you to get your haircut with products in it. Especially pomade but most barbers would prefer that you remove products from your hair prior to coming in the chair.

What I do is before I get it cut I take a wet rag and wet my hair and let it air dry, then get my cut. Afterwards I wash it and then add my products.

trust me, if u brush as much as u supposed to, the carrot creme will settle n blend in wit ya hair. maybe its just my texture of hair. it doesnt build up. 360 for me never does but dax stays 4 ever.
