Date Posted: March 05 2001 at 8:07pm For years, my hair has been either double or single processed to platinum or very light blond. After moving to a new city & having unsatisfactory bleaching, I decided to color my hair w/ semi-permanent (med warm brown) to match my roots (med-dark auburn). I followed the directions on the bottle and was dismayed with the result. The bleached portion of my hair is gray with a purple tint (the roots are about half to three quarters inches long & are a lovely dark auburn).Well, my three year old son just said, "mommy, you have purple hair." I screwed up. What now?? Replies:
