URL: https://talk.hairboutique.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=48500 Printed Date: July 28 2025 at 8:47am Topic: severe breakage Posted By: missy60 Subject: severe breakage Date Posted: November 19 2006 at 2:16pm I have severe breakage because of a terrible stylist thats a long story and Im trying to forget it.  I went to another stylist and she corrected the color and had to give me a layer cut because of breakage.  My hair is just breaking off every where.  I have 2 packs of Redkins deep fuel left I used them when my hair was just bleached so I didnt have to worry about color fading.  Now I have to deal with the breakage and color fade and I definately dont want it to fade off and have to color again to add to the damage.  I had been shampooing with diluted shampoo covering the ends with conditioner first.  Then applying the deep fuel and a moisturizing conditioner afterwards.  I had been nightly applying conditioner and jojoba oil to the ends, and doing a heavy coconut oiling the night before a shampoo.  I cant really use that routine now because all of that will strip the color off so where do I go from here?  It actually seems like the color has helped the feel of my hair some but its still terrilbe.  It makes me almost cry everytime I brush it  Replies: Posted By: babycheeks24 Date Posted: November 19 2006 at 4:48pm it may be best to get it cut off and start a fresh and new. ------------- Babycheeks Posted By: missy60 Date Posted: November 19 2006 at 6:40pm I cant do a cut all the way to my scalp thats to short it would be ok if it was just the length.  I did get alot of it cut
