Hey Lorlor, First of sorry for the delayed reply. I made a long one last night and it was lost before i could post and it made me angry so I didnt retype it.
First I'd recommend treating your hair gently. Comb from the ends to the roots with a wide tooth comb while there is still conditioner in it. If you have tangles don't just yank them out, that causes unnecessry breakage and damage to already fragile hair. Don't put ponytails to tight because that can also cause breakage.
I would also say keep your hair, escpically your ends moisturised. Some chose a creamy moisturizer and seal with an oil, others just use oil, and still some people use intensive moisturizing treatments. You can either make a treatment or buy your own, my personal favorite is A SMT found here http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=14635 - http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=14635 I use a combination of both and it seems to work well for me. Find out what works best for you.
Style wise I would say use protective styles, where the hair isn't out and suscpetable to more damage. Buns, Braids, Twist, updos are all great. I can't think of anymore off the top of my head.
Another thing that isn't something physical you can do is just be happy with your hair. It won't always do what you want but its still beautiful. I've learned personally that frizzy isn't always bad, its a fact of life as a curly girl.
