I'm currently using Goldwell Topchic 20 vol dev with 50% light copper gold and 50% turmaline.  I pull it all the way through each time for the last 10-15 minutes to refresh the color (very much needed as I'm in the tropics and using rainwater shower (with pool shock chemicals, so its very harsh) and the fading is very significant.
 
Anyway, I'd like to use something less damaging on my shaft/ends to try to repair some damage and wondering if there isn't a protein filler or demi perm color or something that I can use so that I will have same results but not be drying out my hair. 
 
Alternatively if there is a way to fill the porous parts with something else that would be good too.
 
I've tried the Phytocitrus hair mask and also a protein mask from Sally's (I'm currently out of it though) and this works temporarily but I'd like to do something a bit more. 
 
Any suggestions?
