Hi guys, is there a oil-free moisturizer that I can use while I have my fusion/strand by strand extensions in? I have extra dry hair, it's always been like that, but with moisturizers, you could never tell, and the moisturizer keeps my hair strong and able to grow. When I get fusion, I will have to change my whole way of taking care of my hair. Oil is in all of the moisturizers I have used. I normally use Luster's Pink oil or other natural oils. I know that oil will actually cause the fusion extensions to shed and even come out completely. Help! hehe, thank you and take care to all who respond. -Valerie

Is there anything else I need to watch out for other than oil when moisturizing my hair with the fusion technique installed?

I'm answering my own questions. lol. I have decided to began taking Essencial Fatty Acids into my diet more. It will give my hair the luster and moisturize it from within. To where maybe, I won't need any extra moisturizer other than shampooing and conditioner (oil free of course)anyway.

I still use moisturizer with extensions, just not directly on the bonds.
I have dry hair too, and I just avoid the bonds, and do really good treatments in between installs.
And what you said about adding fatty acids into your diet will help a lot!
