All the technical medical talk aside, it seems like synth hair can mess with X-ray images! http://jada.ada.org/cgi/reprint/129/5/601.pdf - http://jada.ada.org/cgi/reprint/129/5/601.pdf I don't know if it's all synth hair but it might be good to tell your radiologist if you are going for dental X-rays that you are wearing synth hair.
