I recently purchased some French Refined Bohyme from amazonhair.com. Has anyone ever ordered from them before? I wanted to order from Hairextensions101.com but stupid me, I thought they only carried straight! I must be blind.....
So I ended up ordering from this other company. I ordered a #4 and a #10/16. I had to color the #4 to a #2 because the girl went and changed her color after the consult when I ordered hair! I also had to tone the blonde. The #4 wasn't all that impressive when I received it, the ends were all frizzy and crimped. After I colored it, it was much worse! I used a deposit only with Wella, and left it on only 30 min. The blonde was still really silky and looked great.
Anyways, I called the company and told them that the brown was really dry and tangled and asked it they had had any bad batches. I figured since I'd already colored it that they wouldn't let me return it. He told me he would ask his supervisor, and told me to call back the next day, which was Thanksgiving! I couldn't have gotten any hair by the day after Thanksgiving, which was the only day this girl could have her hair installed!
Here is the other strange thing, the outer package says "100% Human Remi Hair, Bohyme", but the tag attatched to the hair "100% HUMAN HAIR, NO TANGLE, NO COMB OUT". Another big red tag says "100% HUMAN HAIR, BOHYME, NATURAL LUSTER". A little silver diamond tag says "BOHYME, ITEM #(and heres were its interesting, instead of a number, there is a sticker that says "french refined" which is covering another sticker that says "silky straight". I hope this isn't confusing, I'm going to try to post a pic so you experienced Bohyme girls can tell me if it looks authentic.
I looked at the company's return policy,

THERE ARE NO RETURNS ON ANY ITEMS. Please read our exchange policy below before purchasing.

Exchange Policy

Exchanges may be made only if your product is available. We reserve the right to refuse the exchange of any items that have been worn, damaged or had tags removed. We also reserve the right to return to you any acceptable pieces. AmazonHair.com is only able to exchange defective items. Note, defective items will be replaced by the manufacturer

Store Credit

We do not issue any cash or credit card refund. All credit issue on line credit vouchers only.

I recently read that Bohyme gives a 90 day garauntee, is that still true if it has been colored and cut off the weft?

hmmm, not sure about this one. Ive never recieved ANY french refined in those clear packages with white lettering. All of the french refined Ive ordered and in my inventory are in the gold packaging. But that doesnt mean they dont exist....just odd in my opinion, but there may be an explanation and I just dont know it. Those are Bohyme tags, and those are Bohyme bags with the white lettering ( there are some textures that come in the clear bags with white lettering)  Ive just never seen French refined in that packaging.
As for the silver tag. Yes where it says Item # it says French refined (or whatever texture it is). Ive never noticed a sticker on top of a sticker, but Ive never looked for it either.

As for the 90 day guarantee...NO. That is not correct. Bohyme does NOT gaurantee the hair for 90 days. And here is what they told me when I asked.

Quoting my Bohyme representative...

" We are confident that our product is consistant in quality. There is no POSSIBLE way our company can gaurantee hair for 90 days. There is no possible way of knowing what a consumer does to the hair, puts on the hair or how they care for the hair once its on there head. We do however back our product, and in the rare instance where there may be an issue, we will consider the issue on an individual basis"
