Hello everyone.

It's my first time here, but I'd just like to say, good idea to whoever made this discussion board.  Who's to say men don't need hair help ,too!
 
Anyway, I'm 21 with a slight receding hairline.  It's not bad yet and I feel that growing it out is the best look for me.  However, whenever my hair gets any longer that 2-3 inches near the crown, the texture appears to change (which I know is from early stages of balding) and it gets extremely tangled every time i shampoo it, forcing me to condition it as well just to get the tangles out.  I know its good to condition anyway, but it's still aggravating, because if I just shampoo or sometimes even when I just wet it I get the tangling problem. Is there any solution to this? 
 
Just to give you all an idea, I'm kind of going for the Owen Wilson look.  Receding hairline, long hair to eyebrows.
