I have really tight curly hair and what I'd really like in the whole world is soft, wavy curls. I've tried about everything under the sun, and nothing really works. I've even gotten to the point to where I get so frustrated I'm inclined to chop all of my hair off. I like my curls; and even though I've straightened it for a while, I'd like to just let it loose and wavy. When I put product in it, it gets as hard as a rock and doesn't look too great. I would love it if anyone has any suggestions??

The best thing I can tell you is don't fight with your hair.  Let it be what it is.  Try using a product that has less hold power, or use less product.  I love using aloe vera gel.  It smooths and prevents frizz and the hair stays soft and natural-looking.  Check out naturallycurly.com.  It's a wonderful place for curly girls like us!

Try Matrix smooth line. In the orange bottles. Use the shampoo and the conditioner. As a leave in put in  little Sebastian potion 9 and follow with Bed Head Curls Rock. If that doesn't do it, nothing will (exept for a thio relaxer)

Good luck and great hair!

Thanks, I shall try this, and hope it works; I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

You're welcomeSmile. Keep me posted. And don't worry, the above should help. If you're hair is too curly, you won't get loose waves, but at least the curls will look very pretty. Try it, and if it is still not good enough for you, then a thio relaxer (which is really a texturizer) will solve your problem.

Good luck and great hair
