Hi, been growing my hair into a bob, looking for some cute and kinda funky bobs styles.   My hair is long enough I could cut it even with bottom of earlobs, still have some short layers, bangs are almost to tip of nose. Sorry don't have a current pic. Lisa

Lisa,
Looked better short and taperd. I would do a wedge. This still leaves length on the top.

Lisa,

You are in a growing out stage, so the other comments about it looking better shorter may not be taking that into account, I don't know.  Don't let that deter you from growing it out if you want to do that (I am growing out too - it's hard!).

That said, it seems that a lot of the hairstyles you like are super straight geometric cuts, while your hair seems to have quite a bit of wave.  I think most people are better off going with their natural texture rather than fighting it.  Why not go for a full, wavy bob with some layers?  You have a bit to grow yet, of course, but I'm thinking a bit longer than chin length.

In the mean time, I would suggest getting it trimmed just in the back at the bottom and let the rest keep growing, if that's still your goal.

I agree with Strawberry but might add many of those giving opinions here think EVERY one looks best with a shaved nape, inverted bob or pixie.  If you want a balance of opinions post your question in the General section.

Thanks yes I'm on the grow out to a longer short cut.  Yes I do have quite abit of wave I like to wear it both natural and straight to.  My bangs are at a anoying stage was thinking of cutting them but not sure. Lisa

The brunette pic reminds me of Velma from Scooby-Doo. . .

Edit to note that, for some odd reason, I've always thought Velma was hot ^_^;;; . . .
