Ok I need big help with my hair. I have the problem that as my hair
drys after a shower it gets more and more poofy and dry. Its fine up to
a few hours after I get out but once its dry, its poofy and it tangles
over itself and is just a big mess. Also, when it gets messed up (like
in the wind) it stays that way. To be totally honest, its easiest to
deal with if I go for a day or two without using shampoo.
Ive tried various shampoos and conditioners and none of them work. I
know that there must be something out there I can do but I would have
no idea where to find it or what it is.
P.S. I have fairly long hair for a guy if that makes a difference.

Well it sounds like you should just not wash it everyday, there is nothing wrong with this. You might just have really dry hair. If this doesn't work then maybe something like gel, wax, or oil.

is there any conditioner or shampoo or something that makes it
"better"? Sorry if im completely ignorant lol, I cant decide if I think
the shampoos that say "for dry hair" are to treat dry hair or to make
hair more dry

i believe shampoos for dry hair moisturize hair. These conditioners and shampoos help but only to a degree. I still think washing every other day would do the trick. However, just see what works for you. Good luck
