okay i was bleach blonde and decide i wanted to go brown to match this really pretty hair peice i bought,,,, so i use ion color brilliance medium brown and it turned my hair black,,,, so i went back to sallys and got ion color brilliance dark blond to try to lighten it up alot and it turned my hair dark brown with a hint of purple and red... What do i do to get it to lighten up to a medium brown with no red or purple????????????????

Uh-Oh hey? You should have waited a few days and washes your hair lots and lots until the color faded. Browns will fade on Blondes... even bleach blondes. I was a bleach blonde for a long time and went black. It faded to a messy brown and then I just lifted the color with bleach. The only way to lift color is to use bleach, another color won't lift it. I dunno how you would lighten it anymore.... Sorry... You can try COLORFixing it. Apparenlty you get those at Sally's. Try that maybe. ------------- ~* Bambi Lee *~ |
