I've posted this a long, long time ago but now my questions are a bit different. I don't want to make this too long so I just want to say that I've been dying my hair for about 4 years or so. First it was just blonde highlights and then I slowly went all the way to pale blonde and then went back and forth from blonde to various brown shades about 3 or 4 times.

Right now I just want to go back to my natural color. Yes, I loved my blonde hair..and I loved my brown hair, but my hair is just becoming a mess and it's getting so damaged becuase of the dye. I just want to let it grow out and try and dye it back to my natural color, which I've tried to do once but I hated the results.

Heres was my "natural" color;

Heres my color now;

I just want to know if there is any way that they can that they can take that brassy looking color out of my blonde when they do that.. or is that just me? It didn't look "natural" to me at all, and it didn't look like my natural color, it looked too light. Can anyone help me? Please. :[[

I thought it looked nice, maybe a little lighter than your natural...but frankly, after all you've done to it, getting your exact natural color back would be a big challenge.  Now that you are brown again, it will have to be removed again, and if your hair is already very damaged, you may want to consider not going through that.  If they used a violet based dye though, after your color removal, it shouldn't come out that brassy.  May need to be redone though since your hair is porous.

I really like your natural color.  If you want to try to go back, use colorfix first---then do a variety of strand tests with ash blonde in the medium level to see if you can get what you want.  Clariol gives some nice colors that look almost like your natural shade.  (Miss Clairol--moonhaze or moongold) Of course, you'd have to see what color you have left after colorfix...if it's a level 8 warm then one of those above shades just might work for ya!  Remember to strand test first though--even when using the colorfix, you want to make sure your hair can handle the stress--you wouldn't want breakage.  Good luck and I hope this helps!
