i take a multivitamin but really just eating right and drinking plenty of water good rest and exercise is the key to a healthy inside and outside. there are hair vitamins ive taken them to see no difference i find it a waste of money and a good old fashion multivitamin to be just as beneficial.

Be careful with vitamins-- some of them are fat-soluble, which means if you take more of them than your body can use, they'll be stored and can build up to toxic levels. Water-soluble vitamins, if you take more than your body can use, the excess will just be eliminated in your bodily wastes, so they won't hurt you. But either way, there's no benefit to taking in excessive amounts of any vitamin, and some it could be dangerous.

Taking too many vitamins is as dangerous as taking too many anything. You could try a daily supplement of biotin though.I know they say nothing really makes hair grow faster, but I had a horrible haircut a few years back and I swear it made my hair grow faster.

Yep, I agree. Take too much vitamin A and you can start to get liver damage, and hair loss.
