First i wash it with aloe vera shampoo nd conditioner, then i get out nd brush it dry. then i take a hott wet washcloth nd put it on my head, then i wipe my head wit a towel so it gets some of da water not all tho, the i put on sportin waves pomade nd brush dat in, then i brush for a while nd if im goin ou i put grease on it nd brush more....i never use a wave cap nd still have connected waves ------------- i get it...
