ok. i just bought a weft of hair its 18" long and 64" wide
 
can i just cut it into sections, section my hair, and glue it in?
 
and how shall i go about doing this?

yes you can cut the weft into sections and glue, it or use protac tape. The tape being easier than glue.
 
I would suggest liquid gold glue if you are going to use bonding glue. Read some of the various threads here on these two methods, and  here are a couple of demos I have done on these two methods
