Aight, I've been havin the hang of cuttin' my own hair wit the clippers because it's supa easy,BUT, my only prob. is gettin' a hang wit the trimmers. Right now I basically use'em to shave. How do I perfect the line-ups? (Another thing is, how do barbers shave off a "layer" of your sideburns to get'em pointed and fresh, and not all "bushy". Do trimmers have gaurds?) My style wit the sideburns is havin them curve into the point.

So you trim the sideburns with the clipper; then work wit the trimmers? do you get the "crisp" look when u line urself up?

Its a hard job, but it takes alot of practice. To trim your sideburns just line them up, then use your regular clippers to trim them down.

when u say taper or fade ur edges, we talkin bout like bringin the edges down to a lower guard length right? Cuz I did that once while wolfin n it made my edges hella clean. Definetly should use trimmers for edges, clippers cant get tight enough. N I also use the gillette fusion straight razor side, with the 1 tight blade. That thing the best investment i made in a min, no more cheap razors i used to try n do edges wit. I like straight razors for edges

use a number 1..not da bare metal of da clipper use da smallest gaurd..it'll work nice i gauratee as long as u dun go too far onto ur head..dun trim 2 far juss around ur outline..da ting bout line ups is dat even is ya hair get messed up...if u line up is crisp ya hair gon look nice regardless..
