Wut it do.
I got real shiny, (wavey/ straight) hair.
Whenever I brush fowards, my hair gets real straight.
And whenever i brush backwards, the results become wavey when i lay my hair back down...
Is there like a kit for my hair or sumthin.
I brush and du-rag.. Lemme kno wuts up..

use activator and brush. Theirs other people with the same problems, so read the other threads.

Man, let me kno what my problem is..
I cant classify my hair and what not.
I got that S curl gel...?
But how should I brush...
if my hair has results when brushed backwards?

For people with who think they can't get waves cause they think they have sort of straight hair I'd say look for chrisdog.
Always brush away from the crown of your head. Look at the top of the topic list. There would be 2 things you'll want to check out. The book waveology be three-six--oh. and the brushing instruction topic. that's all you'll need. -------------  Aka Doc Shock

sorry man i was in georgia for new years, so do u have like dead straight hair or is it somewhat curly? and id use some s curl activator like doc shock said and id check out the waveology book that tsoh and others whipped up, if u can send me some pics of ur hair or post them it would help alot, and right now how long has it been since uve gotten a haircut? cause ur gonna have to train ur hair and the best way to do that is to start fresh, i dont think ull need to use anything to make ur hair grow faster cause ull have to get it cut more often, unless u have baldspots -------------

No Baldspots...
Just Slick hair....its trained for a 360 pattern on tha grain..
i brush alot..
should i brush the Scurl gel in..?
or put it on after brushing?

yea, im not tryna piss u off or anything but ur hairs pretty straight ont he top, and i dunno if s curl would make it curly enough to keep the pattern, on the sides it looks like u can get waves, but if these are like recently cut its different, if your lucky it might take a while
but wait for tsoh or someone to come in and help you out wit us -------------

In that pic you hair is pretty long so if it ever starts to curl its going to take a while, but honestly I dont think its possible.

astatemayne you got some straight hair on the top yo. but to me anything possible and if you really want waves, its gonna take a lot of work. but the results are well worth it. i think you would have some sick azz waves ------------- the power of water and a brush....explore the possibilities. its crazy tho, my hair on top will curl backwards...
I use to have braids, and my hair was fairly curly when it was bout 3 inches...
Maybe i need a softer brush perhaps?
i use tha soft vidal-sasson brush...
I also wonder'd if there is any kind of kits that would help my hair curl...

u can use a kit if you want were not stopping you, but the kits gonna burn ur head and screw ur hair up some and they wont look good forreal, and if ur hairs curlin up at 3 then start brushin now and start lettin it grow cause if it curls thats good :D, just dont cut ur hair to low from now on lowest should be #2 wtg -------------

i think me and you kinda got some same kind of hair but this is what i did and im starting to see results on the top........i cut it down with a #2 (tell the barber you tryna get waves soo theyll cut it with the grain) boom do that get you some pink lotion(or carrot cream) i use 360 style (its softer) then you brush in spirts of 10 to 15 minutes... i used a wave cap and a do rag at first to make sure the hair will stay in that direction wake up take du rag off brush it.. put pink lotion in come home brush all threw the evening or night (15 minutes at a time) tie your hair up real tight (maybe put lil water in ya du rag) wake up brush and put pink lotion in and sometimes 360 when i wanna shine keep growin your hair out till it gets curly then when the curls start to grow they should grow into waves........... |

| every time you put something in your hair promade, lotion whatever make sure you brush it in and also brush ya hair in the shower if its wet and wash every otherday ya know.......and when you not doing nothing for the hole day brush ya hair put some lotion/pomade in then slap the du rang on boom keep it on for about 3 hrs take it off brush some more then put more pink lotion in boom du ran back for 3 hours then brush then du rag it again then chill for 3 hours or soo and brush but make sure you brush duke...soo when the curls start commin in they go in that direction...... |

DO NOT KIT YOUR HAIR u wont like ever get any waves like that, kitting = mild relaxer. it straightens your hair more. the last thing u need

i think u should get a medium also like tsoh said, but when you put that s curl in your hair leave it in your hair for a few minutes if u got some dormant curls in ya hair ur hair should start to curl up, then start brushin it alot with the medium, then go take a shower and use a come to brush your hair first (just to untangle some of the curls) then take the medium brush like 30 times, then take the softy and brush 30 times over that and just finish ya shower :D, but i suggest u get a face cleansing product cause i forgot how mentioned it on the site but someone didt and it helps get all that product off ur skin so u dont get alot of pimples! but do this before you take a shower because if you do it before going out your hair is gonna look a hot mess, so do it like an hour before u take a shower by the way, thanks tsoh lol and tsoh is right i do beleive u can get waves easy by looking at your hair -------------
