The following questions are concerning some problems that I have with getting waves. If anyone has any advice, please make a comment. I NEED YOUR HELP!

 

1. Sensative Skin from the Du-Rag. Lately, I have been noticing dark marks across my forehead from when I wear my du-rag. This has become an increasing problem. I frequently wash my du-rag but I'm still seeing those dark marks! It is said that you should wear the du-rag every night but is there another alternative I can use to get rid of those dark marks on my forehead?

 

2. The Shape of my Head. I have noticed that people with perfect 360 waves who brush their sides in a diagnal motion have circular, almost "basketball" shaped heads. Their sides are easier to brush. I have a "peanut" shaped head and find it hard to locate the crown of my head and brush diagnal. Should I just brush the sides straight down?

 

3. Keeping my Hair Moist. I have visited some forums and have gotten advice from other people about waves. They have told me to not wash my hair as much. They say that shampooing your hair will break up the wave pattern. So should I wash my hair once or twice a week instead of 3 or 4?
