can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the do it yourself hair coloring products and those products used by a professional colorist. Are the products available to professionals better, stronger or pretty much the same as what anyone can buy at the store?

they are better and give truer color and last longer.
i am not a professional stylist but I am a chronic colorer ;p
I have done both, and like the results and the longevity of professional color much better.
