hello all
im new to this site but im loving it already Smile

i need your help please. sorry this is so long Wink

i have recently had a baby ( my little boy is 15 weeks old now) and my hair is in a bit of a state, not because i had a baby but because of my hormones and what they made me doLOL

i have fine hair that is naturally a mucky brown colour, i havent had my hair uncoloured since i was 15 as i hate it so much. I used to have shoulder lenght hair that was highlighted blonde which i loved. I usually have my hair coloured at hairdressers.

When i got pregnant the highlights didnt take to my hair so in my wisdom i decided to dye it brown ( i hate my hair brown as it does nothing for me except make me look very pale and ill) well it didnt go brown it went a strange reddy / orange colourCry.

whilst i was pregnant i coloured my hair 3 times with different brands / shades and everytime they all went the same strange red / orange colour.  after i had my son i decided to colour my hair a deep red (again dont know why as doesnt suit me) i hated this from the moment i coloured it Cry and i tried everything to cover it up (washing it everyday in vosen and recolouring it brown) nothing works but i have now coloured my hair again ( last week) and its now a warm brown which i can live with for now.
when should i be able to got for this highlighting blonde again and will me putting so many different colours on it cause any problems with this?Confused

when i was pregnant i also had my hair cut into a very short crop ( i do like my hair short but deff prefer it longer) i had it cut so short because it had gone a funny colour and because it started to look very wirey because of my hormones. well i am now trying to grow this out and i currently have a pageboy cut ( well sort of) and i hate it Cry

i am currently taking kelp tablets as these helped me grow my hair for my wedding last year, is there anything you can recommend that will help my hair grow faster to enable me to have it cut into some sort of style?

sorry this is so long im just hating my hair colour and style at the minute

please can you offer any help / advice

-------------
Thanks, Jan

Sorry but the only tip I can give you is for the moment don't cut it and wait for it to grow.  But a pageboy is quite a nice style anyway and you may even be able to put it up already.  I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, I don't think anything can actually noticeably speed up the growth other than taking the vitamins and treating your hair kindly and for the time being not cutting it as that would just take a step backwards.  You must've gotten rid of all the damage by now so hopefully soon it will be at the length you are looking for.  Good luck!
