Hiya girls!

So I've been wearing low quality hair extensions for about a year now on and off. Mostly on :D I've used glue bonding and cornrow weave in and-recently-tried out fusion.

But there's this boy.....oh yes. of course a boy comes into it! Who LOVES my long hair. What I'd like is to get some good quality hair that will feel real when he touches it and not turn to straw as mine does so quickly! I'd also like it to last longer than my cheap 30 pound a pack hair to make it worth my money as I'm a full time student still and don't have a lot and I want to make a good choice first time round!

But never before have I actually purchased any of this so called cuticle and virgin hair.
I've read up on it a little but I thought I'd get your girls opinions and see if you can recommend a type for me?

I'd probably like to use wefts again as fusion I find I have to be TOO careful with! And I don't really like the feel of it...I have dark brown hair but it's fading to medium-dark brown fairly fast. I usually have in 2 shades of brown for a better match. Normally I like to wear 16-18 inch hair. I like to mix and match- sometimes have it straight and sometimes add a bit of a curl to it with my tongs.

I don't use an awful lot of hair as I only really use the extensions to add length. I have a disconnected haircut where the top layer is much shorter than the bottom layer as I'm just growing out the bottom layer.

Also, as i live in the UK it would be nice if someone could recommend one that easily shops there or is even located there.

Here's a few pictures to give you an idea, the final being most recent sorry if you have to scroll acrross the screen a lot!

And this is me without:

Thankyou very much!

Hi I use hair development uk or uk hair supplies, google will bring these up ( I can't do links!) the uk hair supplies is cheaper but is very good hair I have had hair in use for 7 months from there and they do varying lengths but you may have to order, hair develoment have a lot of shades and the colours are really nice and they carry stock all the time.
Hope this helps

Thankyou for the response. I'm very interested in the uk hair supplies website.
on http://www.ukhairsupplies.com/ if i naviagte it to human hair and then remy silky straight weft can you tell me if that will be all that much better than the current hair ive been using which is of quite low quality I bought from ebay for about 30 pounds for a 4ft weft.
It says it is cuticle hair and tangle free which sounds better but I was wondering if that was the type you've tried....I don't think I want to go up to 100 pounds for my hair that's a little too much for me for the european hair, though, it seems a very reasonable price really..

Yes thats what I use, I usually have 26'' but I know she is waiting for that I know she also carries 20'' and usually has the darker colours, I have had no problems with this hair and I have installed clients with it as well.  The only thing is there is a limited range of colours so I have tended to mix with hair development to get the exact shade  but I find this happens more with gold blonde/brown than dark hair anyway. I t is worth getting the colour ring as some shades are redder than usual.

Thankyou very much I think I am going to order some 20 inch! I never go longer than that anyway. I'll let you know how it goes!

Oh, also, do you find just one order is sufficient for a full head? I think I'm going to get some blonde (how is their blonde? the quality) as well as brown as I like to have a little blonde in usually.

I usually have 2 wefts but tend to use one colour more than the other, when I reinstall I refresh with some new hair and reuse some old but I have reinstalled this hair a lot, one weft would be just enough if you wanted one colour. I have not used the  very blonde shades but they feel ok on the colour ring with any hair though the blonde shades have had the most processing as it was nearly black before!! I install it with protac and double the wefts 3/4 at back 2 at the sides. I would get the colour ring before ordering though because the brown can have a lot of red in which doesn't show on the monitor!

Ah okay. I've never used protac- I usually have two or three rows of weave at the back and then just gue the sides with LG glue, bonding till I feel it's full enough at the sides for me.

I was thinking of getting just the colour 2 as it looks about my shade and I can mix it with a wee bit of my other hair (I have plenty in stock) if need be.

And maybe some sort of...caramel-ish blonde?
I'm a bit worried about which blonde to order though.....I want one that will mix with the brown so obviously not a platinum...I know it's had a lot of bleaching the poor hair! I usually go for more of a caramel than a blonde about this colour or a little darker

and it lasts way longer than the platinum of course.

I probably should get the colour ring, as it would be very useful but I'm in a bit of a rush to order! Could you possibly recommend me a blonde using your ring?

OK looking at the ring I would go for No 6 which is a little darker than your picture, more a v.light golden brown but the other blondes are too light and would not blend I have used No 2 on a client and its a nice colour, I am not sure if she has any 6 in at the moment but worth a try!

I have just looked at their colour chart  on screen and the 6 looks much darker than it is on the actual ring  if you were wondering !

14B is a wheat blonde that I think would match your brown hair very nicely! I love your picture! You are very photogenic!
