I have short hair with a lovely (sarcasm;-) cowlick at my left temple. Makes a natural side part, but since I wear my hair short the hair simply stays straight up.
I tried to tame it with wax, thinking and hoping it would stay down, but the little bugger is really resistant.
My face shape is oblong to pear (an oblong pear), I prefer to wear short bangs.
Now I am aiming for style 5892, but can`t see this happening with my inherited cowlick.
Has anyone some advice for me? Is perming an option? Or a different style? Glue? Nails? Hat?

hey,
I think since your hair is shport anyway, why don`t you use a # 2 blade on the clippers and clip your hair short all over. A GI haircut it is called. I think it would look cool and eliminate the cowlick ! Let me know what you think!!

Did that :-) And it looks really funny when it grows out :-)
Unfortunately with my new job I have to have some hair left, so at the moment this is no option for me.
