Hi!
I'm Jacob, 17 years old from Germany ( so please don't be angry if I do grammar mistakes :) ) and i have a problem with my hair.
They don't wanna be as I wan't them to.
My problem is, that they look normaly this way:

i'm sorry about the bad quality, but my sisters digital cam has a long light time ( can I say it that way?) and I didnt had the tiem to find out how to change it.
I hope you can see my problem.
My hairs just lay flat on my head and look really boring.

In contrast to that, my hairs do have a big potential.
Mostly in the evening, when my hair is full of air-particles which they collected alldaylong, it becomes stronger and the result, when i go through my hair with my hands, looks this way :

with light ;)

in germany we call it *verwackelt*, maybe it's wiggly in english?

=> my hairs get more volume( can I say it that way?) , or become like my sister likes to say
*wuschig* which is something like *confused* in english ( sorry about this word abusing^^)
My question:
How can I get this effect early in the morning, so that my haars are in that position the whoel day? maybe with hair-spray or something?
I tried it some times with styling gel, but I didn't get this effect, maybe I used too much or used it wrong?

I hope you guys can help me with my problem
sincerely (hmm is that word only used under letters? hmm who cares^^)
so...
sincerely, Jacob

I would wet it, then dry it up till its damp with a towel and then put some hairspray in it. I think it would look good spiky and messy. Just keep workin it with your fingers till it stays in the position you want.
