I have had long hair for around a year now and I just don't know what to do with it. I sort of have a love/hate relationship with it, sometimes I just want to tear it out but at the same time I find it so much more fun and interesting than my old short hair. Here are a couple of pics:

And the side:

I recently had a couple of inches off but I think I might go back to get a bit more off soon as I at least want to keep it from getting much longer than this. The problem is I'm not really relaxed with it unless I am on my own. I fiddle with it nearly continuously because I feel it needs to be perfect all the time but I see other guys with long hair who are able to flick it back and just generally be relaxed with their hair. A good example of someone with long hair that I quite like is Dylan Timmins from Neighbours just before he had it cut (if anyone watches it) although he sometimes seems to have quite curly hair.

Anyway any suggestions will be welcome :).

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking here BUT I have a few suggestions.

GET A FRINGE!like this

I think a side fringe would really really suit you. If not, get a few more shorter layers cute aroundyour face.

ALSO, get another few layers cut around your head and leave the original length below. Like a sort of disconnected hair cut so you have short layers about down to your chin but still longer underneath. This will heklp your hair flow in a nice way. you have lovely straight hair so it shouldn't curl.

if you are older then 18 you should definatly think about cutting it. Long hair is more of a teen look then an adult look. Plus short hair is easier to take care of. you might really like the cut!
