i was wondering..if you have a short neck, would you perfer long hair, or short? right now my hair is at a medium length. I'm trying to decide if I should go longer, or shorter. i'm also...very short! I really like the length in the middle.  |

IMO long hair would do the samething for a short neck that a turtle neck would do. As for being short, it seems many short girls have long hair or it could be it looks longer because they are not as tall. Either way I think it often overwhelms smaller frames.
I think any style that gives you a little space between you hair and shoulders would lengthen your neck.... just my opinion.

The illusion of a longer neck would be greater with the hair off the shoulders. Depending on the hairline at the nape. If you have a low hairline you would be better going short. A good bob haircut is always in style.

| When I see women who are short with long hair, I think it overpowers them. I also think people who have short necks should wear their hair off the shoulders because you can see a little bit of the neck and it gives the illusion of a longer neck. |

Go for the middle one but with it getting shorter towards the back, an Inverted bob i think it's called. Very sexy and trendy at the moment.
