HI, im a 19/m....I have some hair loss/thinning near the front of my head, which I guess signals a receding hairline. Also, I have a lot of thinning at my crown, with a noticeable bald spot. I have semi oily hair with dandruff, and have recently had scalp pimples breakout while using Neutrogena shampoo. I guess I have clogged pores now, which doesn`t help. I`ve decided I`m going to switch to something all-natural, but I really need to know what kind of vitamins I should start taking to prevent further loss and where to buy them from? Is there one type of combo product I could use or something instead of buying all the vitamins separately. I really appreciate any advice on how to stop this thinning/loss. Please help!

Hello Paul,

I heard that Ultra hair from nature`s plus is good for hair. In Germany it can be get from pharmacies.
It is also possible to get it from the Internet.

Another product that could help is Nioxin. Nioxin can be bought by Wal Mark (sorry, I don`t know the correct English name).

The dermatologist I visited has described for me "Ket shampoo with Ketoconazol" against dandruff, I heard that "Ketoconazol" can improve hair growing. I myself had some problems with this stuff, it caused an increase of hair loss, but maybe this is a site effect for products that improve hair growing (at the beginning), I don`t know. I would suggest consult a dermatologist, he may help you efficient.

If all of this does not help there exist medicaments against hair loss caused by genetics, Propecia and Regaine.

Propecia contains Finasterid.
Regaine contains Minoxidil.

Propecia consists of pills, Regaine is a fluid. This medicaments really help (statistically proved in many cases) but I would not use it without consulting a dermatologist. In Germany it needs a prescription (the same is true for Nioxin and Ultra hair, because they don`t allow to get vitamins and medicaments from foreign countries without consulting a doctor).

There is a German website were you can read a lot of what can be done against hair loss, unfortunately in German, but the products may have the same names (www.alopezie.de.)

I myself use "hair skin and nails", but I am not sure if it helps or not.
Currently I don`t have serious hair loss, but the hair is rather thin.

From a man with serious male pattern baldness I heard that he stopped using shampoos for hair washing, because this was too agressiv for his hair. He only uses fluid soap now and it seems to help.
