Any tips on getting this stuff to stick to my head better?
I use hand tied wefts and heat up the LG after applying but it only is holding about a week!

Did you try to sandwich it?

Poose, the sandwiching method will give you more wear time. Also I use the little trick of pulling the little piece over the end of each edge and this little trick will keep the edges from lifting.

I use my "double sandwiching" technique, putting a covering weft over the initial weft and easily go 4 weeks on each LG install. All I have to do is watch the corners of the covering wefts and stick a little glue on them when they start to lift. Sherrie put my post about this in her Tutorial section.

If it's new hair not washed you might want to wash the wefts to remove excessive silicone, make sure you are using enough.  The syringes really help.  Make sure to push down on it to get it to stick.  Acetone will remove a glob you get in your hair or to redo a mistake.

Also were did you get it?  I've noticed the one place I used to buy it didn't hold up.  Picked it up at another store and this one holds better, maybe it depends how new it is.

Oh no, the hair was washed very well, I colored it first with toner... I did use quite a bit LG (or so I thought!, but I think more would be better :)   especially on the ends!
I bought it from http://www.hairextensions101.com/ - www.hairextensions101.com .
I seems new, I don't know how to tell but it really looks okay!
I am trying the sandwich thing a little, and I can feel the difference already!
Thanks for all your help guys!

The sandwich thing helps a great deal.  Also, making sure it's pressed down good & completely, use a comb end to push down.  Sherrie sells good glue, also when you put it on the weft, give it about 30 seconds to a minute to set and become less gooey before putting it on your head.  It seems to stick better then.

I use the  protac and put a little LG on the ends and a couple of spots in between.....and it holds up great for me.....I can usually go 5 weeks before doing a new install.....and I have less pulling with this method as it grows out.

Thanks,
JeepGirl

Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great!
