If those waves became straight so easily the were fake waves anyway. Maybe your hair just lost visibility.

since all you have is a medium, brush slowly with less pressure and wolf.
or you can buy a new softy and keep brushin.

I was always told 2 wait about 2 days after a cut to wash my hair. but i get a wet rag and rub it on my head in the direction of my waves to get the loose hairs out. But just keep wolfing and you'll be straight

Keep brushing and wolf more and more. it's going to take time for your hair to stay in the wave form, but you'll get there.

Don't freak out so easily. I combed my hair out last night and pretty much all of my waves "disappeared"...But i brushed it, put in some Lets jam, ragged it and woke up...and BAM....I'm still spinning. Just because your waves lose visibility sometimes doesn't mean you lost your waves...Remember that.
