Hey guys!
I'm Stephanie :]
I found this site & I like it alot!
I'm trying to grow out my hair Smile
I'm not all 'educated' about hair and I would love some help & opinions.
So I guess I should start off by introducing my hair! Tongue

It's pretty short, naturally black, thick and curly. I'm from both African American and Asian descents so it's different. The last time I dyed my hair was in about 3ish years ago and the last time I had anything chemical/iron/blowdry done to my hair was about last September. I'v decided that I will no more relax my hair and do all that ironing and stuff. I'v had very long hair as a child, it when down to my tail bone but sadly I had gum stick in it a few times and had to get it cut. Now, the longest my hair has been since then is to the bra strap. I'v been using Herbal Essence for a while but I stopped using that because it made my hair quite dry. After that I started using Pantene for colored women which works wonderful! Now I added Mane n Tail for the conditioner and I'm using Pentene shampoo and conditioner with it. My hair moisturizers I used Pantene moisturizer creme for colored women and sunsilk for dead ends. My hair has been very healthy and stronger now since I'v been taking good care of it. I'm also taking 3 capsuls of GNC's Women's Nail, Hair & Skin Formula. But I'm just dying for it to grow and my goal is to get it to my tail bone again! Clap

Whats up Steph, I have read your post...my advice would be since you have found something that works...stick to that! Don't use those hot irons and chemicals hair killers...lol They only take away from your natural true womaness(not sure if that is a word...lol) I think you understand!  If you really want it to that tailbone again...Patients, and taking care of those split ends will getting done! Take care

Yes, thank you alot!

My hair has had care and it's been getting healither. It's growing slowly then usual but I think it's probably at that phase where it's not going to grow for a little.
I know patients is the key and good care!
