I've heard a lot of people say that they put glycerine into their conditioners, but I don't know what that is.  Is it something that you buy separately?  I'm a little confused.

yes, its purchased seperately. Some conditioners do have it but i dont think its a significant amount. You can get glycerine at walmart and drugstores

its a humectant(attracts moisture from the air)  and used as a hair and skin softener.

my mother use this a lot in her skin moisturizer but ive neve tried mixing it w/ a conditioner. i know a few members use jamican black castor oil as an emolient or humectant as well.

Renee can glycerine and castor oil be used to lock in moisture?
