Just added 4 ounces of volume 20 developer with 1.42 ounces of hair color....could I use it or should I just dump it?
 
Does anyone know what the results will be?

What is the mixing ratio? It's usually 1:1 unless it's something like a HighLift HairColor where it's usually 2 parts developer to 1 part color. I wouldn't use that mixture you mention above if you did I think the color would be very translucent on your hair with unsatisfactory results.
