Every now and then I have a few curls stick up but they go back down after brushin and du raggin. It shouldn't be a big deal. Is it alot of hair sticking up?

All I can say is keep du raggin and training your hair. You gotta get it to the point where it lays down before you even du rag.

Cosign w/ what Davo said. That's a process that I had to go thru too when I first started. After time and dedication (brushin & wolfin) your hair will start to lay down. By the way pomade will make your hair curl up if you don't have ur du rag on.

I used to do that but i found something out the hard way. doing that left gaps in my hair. Since waves are nothing but laid down curls, I was cuttin gaps in my waves by cuttin those curly hairs stickin up.

By the way, if your hair sticks up thru your du rag, get a facial razor (Mach 3, etc) and run it over the durag cuttin those hairs that's stickin up. i used to do that b4 my hair was trained. The only thing is that if you press down 2 hard or do this too much you'll cut holes in your du rag. So just brush and wolf. Remember, its normal for your hair to look messed up when you're wolfin. it'll get better the more you do it
