My hairdresser put a toner in my hair to tone down the brassiness of my lowlights and to change the colour to a brown. Now some of my blonde highlights are grey, I went to another hairdresser and got a lot of it cut out by layering and am wondering if this grey effect will eventually wash out? Thanks

yes, the grey effect will eventually wash out.  Unfortunately that is one of the problems with coloring hair...the darn stuff tends to fade away.

My light gold highlights were stained once with permanent dye, a yucky ashy greyish brown color.  It took a few months, but eventually faded.

Good luck!

That's happened to me and it always washed out in the first shampoo. Believe me, the toner DOESN'T last ... as we (usually) wish it would!
