hello,
I have very thin, fine, lifeless, bodyless, hair and yes it`s also falling out at an alarming rate. I think I have tried every hair restoring, thickening and volumnizing product out on the market. I have yes to have had any luck.
Of course the fact that I had a stroke 3 years ago and take quite a bit of medication for my health conditions doesn`t help much.
My doctor assures me that my medication is not responsible for my hair fall out.
Can I be helped? I only have the use of my right hand so anything too complicated or needing two hands is out. I`m looking for fullness and an easy style.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Sincerely,
Sue

Lifeless and bodyless hair can be a problem to get looking full. You would probably be better off with a style that lies close to your head and is kept fairly short and fairly blunt also. I have baby-fine, straight, thin hair so I can relate. Even if you had three hands, any stying that you do won`t last long after you walk outside. Maybe a short, blunt bob? Try the hair style selector on this site for style ideas. Also try www.hairdos.com. They have lots of nice styles also. Good luck.

Hi Sue,

The key here is to address the "alarming rate" of fallout -- and then you have the flexibility to choose whatever length you want, be it the same length, shorter, or longer.

Things which may help reduce fallout: regular cardiovascular exercise, scalp massages, balanced diet including nutritional supplementation, and gentle handling of the hair. Try these things and see if they help.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes.
