I have caramel colored highlights in my hair, and my stylist just used regular hair color and applied it like highlights to not damage it as much. My natural color is a medium brown. Now I want to go dark, like Cameron Diaz's color dark. I'm worried that if I get my stylist to dye it dark, that the other color will fade through the dark and ruin it altogether. I've had a terrible experience with an orange-ish hair color just refusing to go away. Any suggestions? Thanks!

| I dont see why it isnt possible to go darker.If anything it may help keeping your hair from turning orange-ish. I would go for it,sounds good. |

| It would only go orange if u lighten it at this point.Going dark would not mess it up.Trust me, I use to darken my hair if I messed up my hair.It will work.Just don't go black.That's way too harsh of a color.Plus, if u wanted it lighter u would have a hella time getting it back to normal.Black is the worse color to do.Cuz u can't go back if u don't like it.I have dyed mine black & it took a year to get it back to what I had.Just had to warn u about that.I think a choc. brown would be really pretty. |
