This is me. Dying my hair blond has been frying my hair. I do not even straighten it anymore and wear it more as...curly...jus got back from the beach sort of deal. I want to dye my hair brown but I need someones opinion as to if you think i should. I do not want to dye it then end up not liking it because going blond again would fry my hair even more. any suggestions?

Thank u!! PLZ REPLY

Love.me, you look great as a blonde. Just use lots of deep conditioning to treat your hair.

Maybe go darker gradually. The risk of going dark suddenly is that when you see the result it can be a real shock after having such a light shade of hair and when ever i've done this... I've hated it and ended up going blonde again which is not  good for your hair as you know. I would also advise going to seek a professional to do this as you risk ending up with an unpredictable colour if you just dye over the bleach. In my sig you can see that my hair is very blonde, but had been done professionally. I now have darker hair than this. I went to the salon and they weaved out some of the blonde and put them in foils with only conditioner on. They then weaved and foiled some more using a caramel. Once all the foils were in place, the remainder of the hair was given an all over dark brown dye. It looks really nice and I'm happy with it this way. If you're going to attempt this at home ( or any darker colour for that matter ) ensure that you choose a  brown dye which contains some red tones or use a red filler before you dye or you risk your hair colour turning a yucky shade of green. As i've already said though, I would definately recommend you see a professional for this. Until then, deep condition like crazy....so as your hair is in optimum condition. Good Luck.Thumbs%20Up

You have to be REEEEEEEEEEEEALY REEEEEEEEEEEEEALLLLLY sure you're done with blonde cause it IS a pain to go back if you don't like the darker color. I think brown WOULD look good, but my suggestion is to stay blonde!

I've been blonde for about 6 or 7 years now. My hair is fine, and we all know fine hair is fragile, but I've never had any problems with the bleach. So, just take extra good care of your hair and you'll be fine! :)

You could always go a shade darker blonde. My hair used to be almost your same color. when i felt it looked too light,I'd color it champagne blonde which was just change enough darker that  I liked it. A tad less damaging too.
So,in winter, when hair gets darker and dull~I'd use the lighter color. In summer, when hair got too light and fried from sun, pool and ocean,I'd use the darker blonde.
Also, one good thing is,if you hate the darker blonde, they fade pretty fast the first time you use them. Like,in two weeks my hair was as light as it was before.

i like you blonde, but i went through the same thing with fragile hair.....i'd add some lowlights to break up the harsh root line and then you wont have to touch up the roots as often, and when you do touch up roots be sure there is no overlapping of bleach onto your previsously bleached hair

I think you would look good either colour. I suit both brown (or dark blonde as my hairdresser call its, my natural colour) Every now and then I just get sick of my blonde hair looking frizzy, yellow and dried out and want to go back to brown which looks healthier. But as long as your hair is in good condition then blonde is fine.

I like blonde on u.If u went brown. It could be very hard to get back that pretty blonde color. It would take a long ass time if u got it back.Stay blonde!!
