Well, I had to do a intensive leave-in conditioner for about a week before the damage was reversed. And before, my hair was soft. Now, it's just getting back to normal. One use was all it took from Sheer Blonde. AVOID!
I am sooooo glad you posted this. I get so many emails every week lately with problems with this product. The problem is that there has been so much advertising hype about the product that people don`t know about this side effect on MOST hair.
Actually, to be fair, many of the color shampoos tend to be a little drying. Aveda`s Blue Malva, ARTec`s color shampoos, Paul Mitchell and Mine all work best on hair that is not dry or coarse to begin with.
However, based on the feedback I am getting Spunky Girl, the Sheer Blonde is just way too drying for many people. Especially in the summer when hair is actually more dry than ususal.
Thanks for the post.
