i got my long hair highlighted today and i HATE IT!! it is waaaaaay too blonde (bleach blonde to be exact) and it makes me look like a zebra since my natural color is so dark... it wasn`t what i asked for... anyway, would it completely wreck and damage my hair if i were to have it re-dyed and re-colored in a week or two to in order to get me out of this sticky situation?!?!? i need as many replies as I can get!! i am soooo desperate and i want my color fixed without killing my hair!!!

Go back and tell him. Maybe he can apply a toner of semi. color over it to help blend it in.

A toner, a rinse or a semi will help. Generally bleached hair goes orange over time. Leave it a week and see if it`s still white.

Hi,

Sorry about your hair. I personally would call the colorist up and tell them just want you posted. I would ask them to apply a demi or semi color with no ammonia or other harsh chemicals that can dry your hair further and tone it down.

I wouldn`t personally recommend that you have it dyed again for awhile. To preserve your hair I would go with the demi or semi non-ammonia colors.

The other thing to note is that color fades pretty quickly in the first week. If you don`t want to go back and try to get it toned down by the colorist/stylist than at least let it settle for 1-2 weeks before doing anything else. You may like the toned down flavor better.

Hope that helps.
Karen
