After around a week now with my supertape install, it is by no means falling out, but it dosen't feel as secure as I would like it to, so I had an idea. Has anyone ever tried using LG or tape, but then adding micros, maybe 3 or 4, definately one at each end of the weft to make it more secure? any thoughts on the idea? I've been looking at ways to use micros on wefts, I've only seen the way they have it on Doc Locks, has any one ever tried them on wefts in another way? any experincence or thoughts would be great :)

I have done this with both micros and "shrinkies" on the outsides, or edges...
I honestly didnt like either, it felt weird...they kinda stuck out funny...

Have you tried adding a little LG to the tape? Alot of people who have problems with the tape alone have found that the LG/tape combo works really well

Theres two methods for wefts with microrings.

u can either just stitch them onto the weft and pull the hair straight down through or you can criss cross hair thru microrings to make a 'track'....i think thats the method on drd locks

thanks for the advice ladies :) I'm really liking the idea of adding the LG, I think in my urge to be creative I sorta over looked that one (as common as it is). I'm thinking of maybe doing a multiple technique install... micros/single strands on the bottom row or two and then tapes/lg on the rest of my head... its driving me CRAZY not being able to even have a mid-height pony tail... think that would help any?

I like LG better, the rings hurt & seem to pull, the LG lays really flat.  What about Protac reinforced with lg for the back of the head & LG only for side pieces?

I always reinforce my tape with LG...and it last more than a month. I always need to remove my hair extensins with acetone. Because they are still secure by the time needs to come out. LOVE it
