Hi, I have sandy blond/Light brown hair and I am looking to go back to my color as a kid which was completely blond. I am thinking about Feria Bleach Blonding Lightening Kit 200. I would like to create a light blonde look (not white or platnium), so I would like to know if that is too much or if the Feria product works. Any other recomendations? Thanks.

I would suggest letting a professional do it.

The product is OK for home use if you know what you are doing. Quite frankly with your current shade I would think you might pull a lot of red/orange in the ultimate color you get and this would result in more of a strawberry blonde color than a light blonde.

If I were you and you did not want to go to a salon then I would go to the grocery store and see if there is an 800 number on the Feria boxes. If there is one on the ouside of the box then call the number first before you use the product and ask the Feria experts what they recommend for your current color and the results you can expect.

Any sandy coloring might or might not pull red or orange tones.

If you go to a salon ask for Matrix Socolor or a similar line that is color and not bleach. You can get a really nice light blonde shade with a color product and avoid the potential dryness that bleach can cause.

Hope that helps.
Karen
