Is Aussie actually good to use on your hair? I have been using it and my hair seems to shine more and is super super soft.

I usually use the Aussie 2-1 shampoo/condtioner and the Aussie deep condtioning.

Thnx!

I used Aussie for years with great results!  Unfortunately, they started putting silicones in all their products.  My hair responds bad to silicones, so I had to stop using it.  There's not alot of silicone in it, so if it's working good for you, I say keep it up.

p.s. silicones work great at first because they put a smooth shiny surface on the hair, but over time they build up and start keeping moisture out, doing more harm than good.  Many people are able to use products that contain them without any problem.  Just be sure to clarify once a month or so to remove the build up.

I opened up an Aussie Shampoo site only to find P&G as the address.  I was not happy.

Many companies like P&G own the rights to all sorts of professional and drug store hair care lines.  just the nature of the business.

That is true but I also don't think of P&G as an environmentally friendly company.

i use to love the aussie products and then it seemed like it wasn't doing much for it....if i take a break from it and use it it works really well...can you tell me some products that are good that don't contain silicone?  my hair is kinda dry and coarse but it does have a nice shine.
