Hi, this is my first time posting on this forum but i've thought about it before. Well basically the reason for creating this thread is that i've been having this problem as i wanted to know how basically those people were able to do their hair like that. Those hairstyles are quite great and i've done a lot of research about it but couldn't find anything. I suppose that they either went to some Hair salon or was it some sort of a hair product like a gel that they used. I have a semi-afro and and i've thought of doing something new and those really caught my eyes, I'd appreciate if anyone could please give me some advice on this, or better the solution to it as i'm clearly desperate right now.

Please please please please anyone, please i'm begging here. I want to know about those hairs.

Thank you.
I posted these two hairstyle Below and i think they're quite the same and only the first person has longer hair.

This is how I wore my hair straight back in the day. I loved my weird bed headstraight hair! .. In order to do this it took a lot of manipulation, which I paid for.. basically I'd just comb it, add a moisturizer, and slept with my hair free. Of course I had to falt iron it a bunch.. when I woke up I just shook my head and played with it.. or bend down while blow drying it (dry) ..But you don't need to go to a salon to get those styles.. if you hair is natural..why don't you wash put a few twist in.. untangle them.. and then tease each one until it sticks out.

Thank you for responding to my thread, you must be the nicest person of this forum.SmileStar
But i still got a little problem though, like i said i have a semi-afro and it's not as long as yours and the first guy in the picture i put above. my hair can be very nappy sometimes and i tried before to stick them out but afterwards they just went back to their normal state. It even gets worse after i wake up in bed, it stays down really flat.
You said you used a Falt iron and i assume this could be the only way to straighten them out but can it also be used in mine, if you consider my hair to be the same size as the second person in the picture above. and do you know if there any product that could keep my hair from staying flat everytime i wake in bed.

-Thank you-

I really need those hairstyles they look great.
