Hello :)
My hair is naturally a reddish brown.
I've been getting it done for a while now, and no stylist ever gets it right.
Currently it's a hodge podge of pale blonde, golden blonde, light auburn and light brown. Woah.
What I want is a nice goldish, strawberry blonde with a multitonal look. NOT stripey.
I am a student and can't afford to keep going to salons and having them only do a so-so job.
So I want to try on my own.
Should I do an all over color first, then a highlight w/ a pull through cap? Or will an all over color end up looking highlighted anyway b/c my base is already multi-tonal?
Thanks!
Lilia :)

You may want to try contacting Loreal or go to www.clairol.com first and consult with a color specialist (it's free) Since your hair is already chemically dyed/highlight,they can give you a better idea of what you should use so that it turns out how you want it.

i agree, you do need to be careful re-dying hair, because it can turn out differently than you think, you also don't want to over process it..
In my person experince, I had highlights done years ago, before I started enhancing the red in my hair, the highlights weren't noticable to the naked eye even, but when I did the red over my entire head, it did create some different variances in the color. The virgin hair at my root was MUCH brighter simply because it had not been processed before.
