Hi. I was wondering if anyone could help me out...
My hair is a similar colour to the one which Natasha Bedinfield has here, or maybe a little darker. But I really want to go lighter, similar to the second picture. I have had cap highligts before but my hair looked no different. I currently have foils which have lightened it a bit. But, would it be possible to achieve a colour this light next time I get my hair lightened without causing too much damage? My hair isn't thick and it's around shoulder length.

Well, this all depends on how much have u colored or bleached your hair?If not much then u can get it foiled again, but make sure u tell teh hair dresser to put heavey chunks of blonde in it.The last time I went to a Salon.the girl made it a pretty blonde, but didn't do heavey chunks like I wanted.I got my sister-in-law to foil it & it looks blonder like I wanted.Plus, if u wanna brighten the blonde up.U should try Artec color Shampoo or Cond.It adds color to your hair without dying it.It adds color to your cuitcle fiber.Plus, thsi keeps u from having to color as often. It has helped me from having to color mine as much.Keeps it from fading to.I get mine in Lemon Flower. They have all kinds of colors. That's the best stuff!

My color is actually VERY similar to this (second pic), maybe even exactly, and my natural color is about a light golden/chestnut brown. I've been having it bleached for about eight years straight now with NO problems. One time I even went REALLY DARK (just sections) and hated it and went RIGHT BACK TO LIGHT BLONDE again EASILY. I have baby fine, long hair. It's healthy as can be. I also take great care of it -- deep condition once a week and regular condition every other day, plus, use other products.

What I have always told the colorist to do is a "HEAVY highlight" (I don't say to "chunk" it.). I don't see why you couldn't have this at all and with minimal damage!

I have done it too pretty easily myself.I dont see why you should have any issues. Although the first pic looks like a golden blonde to me and the second is more of a very light ash blonde with only slight golden undertones.
Just make sure you condition well afterwards!
